Purpose

This report proposes to develop a single,
integrated day centre offer by bringing together existing
provision, whilst ensuring it meets the needs of all client groups,
in order to support sustainable long-term provision of specialist
day services and meet MTFS savings commitments.

Decision

1.            
To agree the integration of Central Hill and Aspire Wellbeing day
services as a single service offer, to be based at Aspire
Wellbeing’s current location on Park Hall Road, contributing
to the delivery of savings agreed as part of Lambeth’s
Medium-Term Financial Strategy (MTFS).
2.            
To make the current site of Central Hill day service surplus to
requirements.
3.            
To note request for £50,000 of capital funding for premises
enhancements. Proposed funding source will be flexible use of
capital receipts.
