Purpose

To approve the procurement strategy and contract award for the Council’s corporate print services (and any associated design/production, storage/fulfilment and distribution requirements as set out in the tender), ensuring continuity of statutory and corporate communications, improved value for money, and delivery of sustainability and social value objectives. The decision is required to enable mobilisation for a planned go-live by end of May 2026 and to avoid service disruption or an unplanned extension of current arrangements.

Decision

1. To approve the award of the Corporate Print and Design Services Contract (Managed Print Services Printing and Reprographics) to CDS Print Services Ltd.
2. To approve a contract term commencing on 26 September 2026 and expiring on 31 May 2030, with an estimated total contract value of £3.616m over the maximum four-year term, subject to actual demand and volumes.
