Purpose

This report details the process undertaken,
and the recommendation for the appointment of external auditors for
Homes for Lambeth (HFL). In accordance with the Shareholders’
Agreement, the Ownership and Stewardship Panel has recommended the
appointment of Scrutton Bland as HFL’s external auditor. The
recommendation of this report is that the Cabinet Member approves
the appointment by HFL of SB Audit LLP, registered as Scrutton
Bland, as external auditors for each of the HfL Companies with a
contract term effective from 1 April 2024. The services include
external audit and submission of statements of tax to HM Revenue
& Customs.

Companies for a contract term with an effective start date of 1
April 2024.
