Purpose

To extend the contract for the Beacon Project
delivered by the Ascension Trust a black led organisation. The
project delivers two health and wellbeing hubs in the south of the
borough placed at community settings that support Lambeth residents
accessing a range of support including blood pressure checks,
discuss vaccine confidence, and mental health support. In
particular the work supports our black population who experience
the biggest health inequalities

Decision

Public Health seeks to
extend the current contract with Ascension Trust (AT) for an additional 24 months to continue the
Beacon Project and deliver two weekly health and wellbeing hubs
that rotate within community settings in the north and south of the
borough.
