Purpose

This is a re-tendering exercise for the
disposal and treatment of food and green waste. This is to ensure
there is provision of Food and Green Waste Disposal for continuity
of services for residents

Decision

To
approve the award of the contract for Food and Green Waste Disposal
Services to Veolia Environmental Services Ltd, for a period of
three years with the option to extend for a further one year, plus
one year (3+1+1), with an estimated maximum contract value of
£2,785,100 to commence 1 July 2024.
