Decision

1.         
To authorise officers to enter into the lease for
six years with yearly breaks from year three, with officers seeking
further approval for year three onwards for the further rental
commitment if required. It is anticipated we will enter the
proposed lease in Q2 2024 with the first break in Q2 2027 and
expiry of the lease in Q2 2030. The starting rent for the lease in
year 1 will be £57,000.
 

2.         
To delegate to the Head of Valuation and Strategic
Property in consultation with the Director of Legal Services the
authority to agree the terms and conditions of the lease in the
best interests of the Council.
