Purpose

A Further Competition Exercise under the
National Local Government Pension Scheme Pension Administration
Software Framework recently took place, and it is proposed to award
a contract to Heywood Pension Technologies for the provision of
Pension Software Administration for a maximum period of ten years.
The contract value is over £500,000.

Decision

1.    
To approve the award of a call-off
contract from the National Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS)
Frameworks for Pension Administration Frameworks to Heywood Pension
Technologies for the provision of LGPS Pension Administration
Software for an initial contract term of seven years from 1 August
2024 to 31 July 2031 at a contract cost of
£1,763,686.00. 

 
2.    
To approve an option to extend the
contract for a further three single year extensions at
£437,748 in year 8 and then at £304,968 for years nine
and ten. The estimated total contract value of these extensions is
£1,047,684.  The cost for the
maximum ten-year period is therefore
£2,811,370.00.
