Decision

1.         
Having given
consideration to representations and objections received
during statutory consultation (appendix B) to agree to the
implementation of traffic and parking restrictions as shown in the
plans in Appendix D1 and Appendix D2, and the making of traffic
management orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49, 124 and Schedule 1
and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act
1984.

 
2.         
Exercise discretion not to hold a public
inquiry pursuant to Regulation 9 of the Local Authorities Traffic
Orders (Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulations 1996.

 
3.         
To have regard to the Equality Impact
Assessment prepared for the purposes of this report (Appendix
A).
 
4.         
To approve £6,000
to implement all aspects of the schemes which
include signing and lining, Traffic Order, and communications. The
cost for the schemes is fully funded via approved capital budgets.
The plans will be implemented in Q1-2 2024/2025.
