Purpose

The proposed works will be procured through
Pretium Framework - Lot 5A - 5E Fire Proofing and Compartmentation
Works.
The principal area of works to be completed will be the
installation of new fire proofing and compartmentation in loft
spaces that do not meet with the current fire safety standards
and/or building regulations.

Decision

1.    
To approve the appointment of Trail Group Ltd to Lot 5 -
Fireproofing and Firestopping works via the Pretium Framework at an
annual contract value of £500,000 commencing in September
2024 and running until August 2027, the total sum for the initial
years being £1,500,000, with two possible further extensions
of one year each making the total contract value £2,500,000
to 2029.
 

2.    
To approve an additional £350,000 one-off payment to deliver
loft insulation works allocated from carbon offset fund.
