Purpose

This report outlines a proposal to increase
the relevant fixed penalty charge levels currently applied in order
to reiterate Lambeth’s ‘zero tolerance’ approach
towards environmental crime and so as to support the delivery of a
range of behavioural change initiatives that align with our
ambitions; to make “Lambeth One of the Safest Boroughs in
London”, “Making Lambeth Neighbourhoods Fit for the
Future” and “Making Lambeth A Place We Can All Call
Home”.

Decision

To agree the proposed increase to
the Fixed Penalty Notice detailed in section two and as shown in
table 2.1. The increase would take effect from 01 September
2024.

Impact Assessment prepared for the purposes of this report.
