Decision
1.
Having considered the feedback to the public
engagement to approve minor amendments to the Streatham Wells CPZ
design shown in Drawing No. DES-CPZ-N-2016-001-01 Rev A (Appendix
A) and the Streatham Hill East CPZ extension design shown in
Drawing No. DES-CPZ-N-2025-001 Rev A (Appendix B) to accommodate
the introduction of Electric Vehicle (EV) recharging bays, Cycle
Hangars and Parklets, as described in sections 2 and 5 this
report.
2.
To authorise officers to carry out statutory
consultation under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and in
accordance with the Local Authorities Traffic Orders (Procedure)
(England and Wales) Regulations 1996 on proposals to introduce a
new Streatham Wells Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) operating Monday
to Friday, 10am to 4pm as shown in Drawing No.
DES-CPZ-N-2016-001-01 Rev 1 (Appendix A),

To authorise officers to carry out statutory
consultation under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and in
accordance with the Local Authorities Traffic Orders (Procedure)
(England and Wales) Regulations 1996 on proposals to extend the
Streatham Hill East Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) operating Monday
to Friday, 10am to 12noon as shown in Drawing No.
DES-CPZ-N-2025-001 Rev 1 (Appendix B)

That subject to the above approvals at
recommendation one, and in the event that no objections are
received in the course of the consultation referred to at
recommendations two and three, to agree to the implementation of
the proposals under sections 6, 45, 49, 124 and Schedule 1 and Part
IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act
1984.
5.
To agree that if any material objections or
representations resulting from the statutory consultation referred
to in recommendations two and three are received, they will be
considered by way of a separate decision report by a Director or Assistant Director of Resident and
Enabling Services prior to any decision being taken on whether to
proceed with, amend or withdraw the proposals.
6.
To have regard to the Equality Impact Assessment
prepared for the purposes of this report (Appendix C).
