Purpose

To amend and vary extra care contract for
services currently at Lingham Court extra care scheme to transfer
these services to Clarence Avenue extra care scheme.

Decision

1.           
To note the spend of approximately £1,767,528 from 13 March
2023 to 13 September 2024.

2.           
To approve the variation of the contract for the provision of care
and support services at Charleston House and Lingham Court, to
transfer the Lingham Court element of the contract to Clarence
Avenue at a cost of £7,978,164.44 for an overall cost of
£9,745,692.44 (an increase of £1,497,228.44) over seven
years in total. This is a variation to a contract which commenced
on 13 March 2023 and is running for three years initially, with the
potential to extend for an additional four years, until 12 March
2030.
