Purpose

This report proposes a 21-month extension of
the existing contractual arrangement with Streatham Common
Co-operative (SCCoop) for the management of The Rookery, a small
historical Grade II listed garden adjacent to Streatham
Common.

Decision

To
approve a 21-month extension to the contract for Management of The
Rookery, to Streatham Common Co-operative, where the original
contract in 2019 was for a two-year period at £50,000 per
annum, with two optional one-year extensions, which were taken up.
The extensions were approved as two one-year variations at
£60,000 per annum. A further one-year extension to 30
September 2024 was approved in 2023. The duration for the new
extension will be for 21 months, from 1 October 2024 to 30 June
2026.

 
This
extension will increase the total contract value over the six years
and nine months from 2019-2026 to £385,000.
