Decision

1.         
To approve the proposed lane rental scheme set out
in the feasibility study shown in appendix A,

 

2.         
To proceed with undertaking a consultation on the
proposed lane rental scheme, in accordance with regulations and
associated guidance issued by the Department for
Transport,

 

3.         
To delegate authority to the Assistant Director for
Parking, Network Management and Fleet in consultation with the
Cabinet Member for Sustainable Lambeth and Clean Air, to review the
outcome of consultation, agree any amendments to the scheme, and
approve the application to the Secretary of State to introduce a
scheme.

 

4.         
To approve the implementation of a lane rental
scheme as an initial trial and subsequently as a permanent scheme,
subject to the Secretary of State approving the application and
confirming a scheme, on a cost neutral basis by January
2026.
