About
The Inner South West Community Committee ensures the views of local residents in Armley, Beeston and Holbeck, Hunslet and Riverside, and Kirkstall are heard and influence council decisions. It holds public meetings to make localised decisions, particularly regarding funding for projects that address agreed priorities.
The committee engages with communities on issues such as environmental improvements, community safety, health and wellbeing, and employment. It also manages budgets for community projects for adults and youth activities, offering small grants up to £1000 per ward and larger grants for projects exceeding £1000 within a single ward.
