Decision

The Director of Adults and Health approved a
2-year extension of the existing contract for the Information,
Advice and Support Service for unpaid adult and parent carers in
Leeds (DN358659) commencing on 1st April 2024. The extension is
permitted within the contract’s original terms. The Director
of Adults and Health approved a variation to the contract from 1st
April 2024 to include existing funding from the NHS Leeds ICB to
provide increased carer support capacity within the hospital
setting to support patient flow for the duration of the contract
extension. The contract extension value in 2024/2025 and 2025/2026
will be £2,754,966. The Director of Adults and Health noted
that the Head of Service (Integrated Commissioning) will be
responsible for implementing the decision with support from
Procurement and Commercial Services and Financial
Services.
