Decision
The Interim Director of Adults and Health has noted and agreed
to:
Achieve a saving against budget of £107.5Kpa, in view of the
Council’s financial position, by pausing the Ideas that
Change Lives Scheme. There will be no Council funding for Ideas
that Change Lives grants in the second half of 2023-24; or during
2024-25.
Sustain a reduced level of free consultancy for new and existing
local social enterprises in the fields of wellbeing, care and
support, by making a £7,500 grant to See Ahead for the
financial year 2024-25.
Receive a further report during autumn 2024 following a broader
review of Third Sector Contracts and Grants, regarding the future
of the scheme and its potential role in delivering the Better Lives
Strategy.
