Decision

The Interim Director of Adults and Health
has:-

• Approved the direct award of a contract to MHA under CPR
9.5, dated with effect from 1st November 2023, ie. to follow from
the expiry date of the previous contract (ref. DN197322).

• Noted the initial contract period to be for one year in the
sum of £185,790pa, for ten places per day, for 5 days per
week. The contract will have an option to extend for a maximum
period of up to twelve months in any combination. Should the
contract extension period be utilised in full, the potential
maximum value of the contract would be £371,580.

• Noted that this represents an in-year saving for 2023-24 of
£8,277; and an annual saving of £19,865, compared to
the previous contract price and current budget.

• Agreed to a further Service Review, led by the Commissioning
Programme Lead, Older People, to be completed by end April
2024.
