The Director of Children and Families agreed
to:
a) Note the content of this report and support the development of a
trauma informed practice resource team within Early Help
Services.
b) Approve the permanent recruitment of the following posts:
• Integrated Trauma Informed Practice Programme Manager Dir
52.5%
(Social care TIP)
• Specialist Educational Psychologist, grade Soulbury B
(Education Lead TIP)
• Social Work Trauma Informed Practice Specialist Consultant-
DIR45%
• Mental Health Trauma Informed Practice Specialist Consultant
– DIR45% (or equivalent NHS agenda for change grade)
• Trauma informed Practice Communities Liaison lead -SO2
• Trauma Informed Practice Development Facilitator-PO4

c) Note that the funding mechanism from the ICB to support these
posts is on an annual basis, but recruitment challenges mean that
permanent recruitment to the roles is considered prudent, this does
however pose a financial risk to the Council.
