The Director of Public Health:

Approved an increased budget of £701,805.88 per annum from
£520,000 per annum previously approved for the new NHS Health
Check contract, previous report D56216 Council and democracy
(leeds.gov.uk). (The overall budget has increased from
£2,600,000 to £3,509,029.40 for the initial contract
period and from £4,160,000 to £5,164,447.04 for the
overall contract period if all extensions are used not including
Covid catch up budget).

Approved the modification of the new contract once awarded under
Regulation 72 (5) of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 to
include the Covid Catch Up Programme with maximum funding of
£550,000 from Public Health Reserves over the duration of the
contract. This figure is in addition to the value of the contract
price of £701,805.88 per annum. The maximum total value of
the variation will be no greater than £550,000. The inclusion
of the Covid Catch Up budget was approved in March 2023.

Approved the use of 100% quality tender evaluation criteria, in
accordance with Contract Procedure Rules (CPRs) 15.2 (b).

Noted that a further report to approve the contract award and
contract modification which will be a direct consequence of the key
decision taken in March 2023 which was D56216 Council and democracy
(leeds.gov.uk) will be submitted for approval at the end of the
procurement process and will therefore be a significant operational
decision at most which will not be subject to call in.
