Purpose

Leeds Building Services (LBS) are looking to undertake an open procurement to establish a contract to appoint contractors to undertake works relating to painting & decorating for housing stock.

The proposed contract will aim to ensure that Leeds Building Services can deliver across East (Lot 1) and South (Lot 2) Housing areas. The proposal will be to award 2 lots to a different contractor per lot.

The contracts will be awarded for an initial 4-year term, with the option to extend the contract for an additional 1-year term. The estimated annual spend for the contract will be £600,000 with an estimated total contract spend of £3,000,000 for the contract duration including extensions.

The contractual arrangements are expected to commence in June 2027 for a period of four years, with the option to extend for an additional 12-month period.

The decision maker intends to approve the recommendations set out in the report attached with effect from the decision date.
