Purpose

To accept the Youth Justice Grant 2026/27 from the Youth Justice Board on behalf of Leeds City Council and to authorise the necessary grant agreement arrangements. The grant will support the continued delivery of statutory youth justice services in Leeds, enabling the Leeds Youth Justice Service to work with children, families, victims and partners to prevent offending and reoffending, manage risk and safety, support diversion and early intervention, and deliver the priorities set out in the Leeds Youth Justice Plan.
