Purpose

Approval is being sought to undertake a procurement exercise to appoint up to 2 contractors for the design, supply and installation of Smoke Detectors in domestic properties across East and South Leeds.

The contract will run for 3 years with no extension.

The estimated value of the contract is £300k per annum, or a total of £900k over the life of the contract.

The estimated start date for the contract is 3rd January 2027.

Decision

The decision maker intends to approve the recommendations set out in the report attached with effect from the decision date.
