The Chief Officer, Climate, Energy & Green Spaces approved collaborative work with the West Yorkshire Combined Authority (WYCA) to progress the design of a local Heat Network Zone Co-ordinator Body (ZCB), noting that any decision to proceed to formation of the ZCB will be the subject of a further report, but also noting the risks relating to grant repayment events addressed at paragraphs 29-35 of the main report.

The Chief Officer, Climate, Energy & Green Spaces approved signature of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) to receive section 31 grant funding totalling £471,939 as outlined in the report.
