The City Mayor decided to approve the freehold disposal of land at Phases D & E, Ashton Green, Leicester to Tilia Homes on 12 September 2025. The decision also approved entering into unconditional contracts for the sale and a collaboration agreement with the Diocesan of Leicester.

The Assistant City Mayor for Environment and Transport approved the implementation of a 20mph speed limit in New Parks South on 4 February 2026. This included approving the advertisement of the speed limit order and associated traffic calming measures.
