About

The Leicestershire Local Access Forum is an independent body established by law to represent the interests of all users and landowners regarding public rights of way and countryside access within Leicestershire County Council's area. It debates issues related to countryside access and recreation. The Forum advises government bodies, including the County Council, on these matters. Its remit covers the interests of walkers, horse-riders, cyclists, 4x4 users, farmers, landowners, conservation groups, and those concerned with health and public transport.
