Full council record

Purpose

A number of speed limit Traffic Regulation Orders (TRO) have been identified to be outdated and incorrect, therefore a new TRO is required to correct these anomalies. Several locations were identified in North West Leicestershire where a 30mph Speed Limit had been designated as 30mph by Street Lighting when there was no street lighting present, which makes the 30mph Speed Limit invalid and not legal. Therefore, a TRO and signage was required to make the 30mph Speed Limit legal and enforceable.
Additionally, due to an irregularity discovered within the 40mph Speed Limit located on Lower Moor Road, Coleorton an update was needed to correct this anomaly. This was solely an order update, and therefore there will be no change on site.

Decision

To correct the Traffic Regulation Order anomalies at various locations in North West Leicestershire.
