Purpose

The existing Tourist
Accommodation Retention Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) is
being revised to reflect changes in the tourism and accommodation
industry. Cabinet decision required to give authority to publish
the draft Tourist Accommodation Retention SPD for public
consultation in accordance with Regulation 13 of the Town and
Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations
2012.

Content

(Non-key decision):
 
(1) That Cabinet approve the
publication of the Revised Tourist Accommodation Retention
Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) for public consultation
between Friday 28th February and Friday 25th April 2025
 
(2) To delegate authority to
the Head of Planning Policy, in consultation with the Cabinet
Member for Enterprise, Community Spaces and Planning, to make minor
or typographical changes to the SPD prior to
publication.
