Purpose

Air Quality Strategy as
required by Defra for all local authorities with responsibility for
Local Air Quality Management regime.
 
Approval required for document
to go out to public consultation prior to publication and
adoption.

Content

(Key
decision):
 
(1) To approve the draft Air
Quality Strategy
 
(2) To grant delegated
authority to the Deputy Chief Executive and Director of
Regeneration and Planning to –
 
(a)
carry out public consultation on the draft strategy; and
 
(b)
in consultation with the Cabinet member for Carbon Neutral 2030 and
Water Champion, to adopt the strategy, having due regard to the
public consultation outcome.
