Purpose

Half-year update to the annual
Housing Performance & Update report.  This will be a more concise version of the report,
largely based on the satisfaction element of the Tenant
Satisfaction Measures and a selection of KPIs.

Content

(Non-key
decision):
1)   
To recognise the positive outcome and C2 grading
received by Lewes District Council from the recent routine
inspection undertaken by the Regulator of Social Housing for social
landlord services.
2)   
To approve and adopt the Regulatory Assurance Plan
enclosed within Report Appendix 1 toward achieving a C1
grade.
3)   
To note the performance overview in the delivery of
Council housing services.
4)   
To endorse the East Sussex Housing Partnership
Strategy enclosed within Report Appendix 4, a strategic
collaboration between public health and all East Sussex housing
authorities.
5)   
To authorise the Director of Housing, Assets and
Development, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Tenants
and those in Housing Need, to award recently tendered repairs and
maintenance contracts effective from 1 April 2026, carrying out all
necessary steps including determining the terms of, and authorising
the execution of, all relevant documentation.
