Purpose

To provide an update on the
Council’s financial performance, revenue budgets and capital
programme to the end of quarter 2 2025/2026 and explain the impact
on the current financial position.

Content

decision):
1)   
To note the forecast outturn position for 2025/26
and the associated risks.
2)   
To delegate authority to the Director of Finance and
Performance, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Finances,
Resources and Community Wealth Building, to apply necessary budget
virements to ensure effective budget management.
3)   
To review Section 8 of the Cabinet Report for an
analysis of the Council’s current savings plan.
4)   
To refer to Report Appendices 1 and 2 for detailed
capital programme monitoring and a glossary of terms.
