Purpose

To introduce the Housing Enforcement Policy to include the provisions of the Renters Rights Act.

Decision

1. To approve the draft Private Sector Housing Enforcement Policy.
2. To delegate authority to the Director of Housing, Assets and Development, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Housing and Homelessness, to finalise and implement the Policy.
