About

The Community Leadership Scrutiny Committee strengthens the City of Lincoln Council's role in representing the well-being of Lincoln residents. It consults with residents and stakeholders to understand local issues and aspirations, ensuring these inform council policies and decisions, with a focus on disadvantaged groups. The committee scrutinises decisions of external organisations impacting the city and emerging legislation, aiming to influence them in favour of local people. It also enhances transparency by holding service providers accountable for their performance and ensures the council's voice is heard in external consultations.
