About

The LCR Transport Committee is responsible for transport and travel policy for the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority. It comprises 24 elected members, with four representatives from each of the six constituent local authorities. The committee develops funding proposals and oversees Merseytravel, which acts as the Passenger Transport Executive and Executive Body for the Combined Authority. Its remit includes undertaking transport and travel policy functions and certain delegated responsibilities related to these areas.
