Purpose

Report seeking endorsement of the draft final LCRCA Housing Strategy (Spring 2026).

Decision

RESOLVED – That in relation to the LCRCA Housing Strategy 2026-31:

(a)         The contents of this report and the draft Liverpool City Region Combined Authority Housing Strategy for publication, as set out in Appendix 1 be noted;

(b)         Delegated authority be granted to the Chief Executive, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Housing and Regeneration, to make typographical or presentational amendments prior to final publication, including the incorporation of lived experience and impact case studies; and

(c)          The proposed approach and timetable for developing the accompanying Strategy Delivery Plan referenced in paragraph 7.1 to be brought to the Combined Authority for approval at a future meeting be noted.
