Purpose

The purpose of an exception report is to have
a continued focus on the major financial risks and pressures and to
signal significant emerging issues in relation to the revenue
budget, the capital programme, capital financing position and
treasury management activities to ensure early mitigations are in
place and the council lives within its budget for the financial
year.
