Purpose

Permission to undertake a procurement process
up to the value of £230,000 to secure specialist support to
assist the Council in the implementation of Children’s
Services Commissioning and Sufficiency Strategy.

Decision

For the reasons set out in this report, the
Corporate Director has decided to:
1)   
Commence a procurement process for £230,000 (excluding VAT)
to secure specialist support to assist the Council in the
implementation of Children’s Services Commissioning and
Sufficiency Strategy.

Alternative options considered

There are no alternative options. A
procurement exercise is required to comply with procurement
law.
