Purpose

For the reasons set out in this report, the
Corporate Director has decided to:
1) To instruct the Returning Officer to hold a ballot in respect of
the Culture & Commerce BID as requested by the Liverpool BID
company in its request dated 19th January 2026 for the proposed BID
arrangements set out in appendix 1.

None – as the request complies with the
Regulations the council is obliged to instruct the returning
officer to hold a ballot.
