Purpose

This report records the decision to award grant funding of £195,000 to Liverpool Access to Advice Network (LATAN) over a four-year period (2026/27 to 2029/30) to coordinate Liverpool’s Poverty Alliance and strengthen the city’s advice and support system for children, young people and families experiencing poverty.

The funding will support LATAN to deliver a programme of system leadership, coordination, crisis intelligence, partnership working, sector analysis and monitoring and evaluation. The programme will improve access to advice, income maximisation, debt support, affordable finance, and access to justice, whilst strengthening collaboration across Liverpool's anti-poverty system.
