About
The North Western Area Planning Committee is responsible for making decisions and representations on planning and other applications within the Maldon District Council's area as the Local Planning Authority. It also handles the enforcement of planning control, public rights of way orders, and tree preservation orders. The committee provides input from its geographical area to the Planning and Licensing Committee on other relevant matters. Its constitution is based on geographical representation, not political balance.
