0-19 Healthy Child Programme Services Gateway
3 Report to vary and extend the current contract from April
2025.

Decision

RESOLVED:
That Cabinet:
A. Approve variation of the
0-19 Healthy Child Programme Services contract to allow a contract
extension for a period of up to 6 months from 1st April 2025 to
30th September 2025. The extension will allow the Provider
Selection Regime (PSR) Direct Award Process C to conclude and
continue service provision for children and their
families.
B. Approve delegated authority
to the Executive Director for Adult Social Care, Integrated Care
and Public Health (ASC, IC & PH) in consultation with the
Executive Director of Children, Lifelong Learning and Families, to
award the contract under PSR.
If the current Provider
Selection Regime Direct Award Process C does not conclude with an
award of the contract, Cabinet are asked
to:
C Approve delegated authority
to the Executive Director for ASC, IC & PH in consultation with
the Executive Director of Children, Lifelong Learning and Families,
to agree the recommended next steps following an options appraisal,
including the authority to extend the current contract for a
further 6 months (until March 2026) to allow for the recommended
option to be implemented.
D Approve delegated authority
to the Executive Director for ASC, IC & PH in consultation with
the Executive Director of Children, Lifelong Learning and Families,
to approve award of a new contract following all due governance
processes
