Purpose

The Council is approaching the end of its
existing long-term agreement with its current provider for employer
liability and Public Liability insurance cover. By extending the
current contract for one year the council will be able secure
continuity of cover whilst undertaking joint procurement for
replacement cover with London borough of Sutton and Kingston as
part of the shared services arrangement. We expect to achieve
better savings/term by carrying a joint Liability insurance tender
in 2026
