Purpose

This report provides an update following the
establishment of a Merton Legacy Board to oversee the development
of capital projects that leave a lasting legacy in Merton, funded
from the allocation of £15m from Capital Receipts from the
Merton Legacy Fund.
An Advisory Board made up of individuals from a range of sectors
and community interests in the borough has been working to support
the decision-making process by reviewing and recommending proposals
to Cabinet. This report provides details of the projects that will
be put to the public vote.

Decision

A. Approve all three project
option lists detailed in Appendix 1, shortlisted by the Advisory
Board for submission to a public vote.
