Update on progress towards setting a balanced
budget for 2026/27. Review of MTFS and capital strategy
2026-30.

Decision

RESOLVED :
 
A. That Cabinet agrees the
proposed Council Tax Base for 2026/27 set out in paragraph 8.1 and
Appendix 1.
B That Cabinet considers the
second tranche of draft savings proposals for 2026/27 to 2029/30
(Appendix 2) and agrees to refer them to the Overview and Scrutiny
panels and Committee in January and February 2026 for consideration
and comment.
C. That Cabinet considers the
emerging draft Equalities Impact Assessments for each saving
(Appendix 3), where applicable, and refers them to the Overview and
Scrutiny panels and Committee in January and February 2026 for
consideration and comment.
D. That Cabinet considers the
draft Capital Programme 2026-2030 (Appendix 5) and agrees to refer
it to the Overview and Scrutiny panels and Commission in
January/February 2026 for consideration and comment.
