Purpose

Update on budget process 2025-29 and progress
towards setting a balanced budget and council tax for 2025/26. The
report will also present the latest details on the MTFS 2025-29 and
Capital Programme 2025-29.

Decision

RESOLVED:
 
A. That Cabinet considered and agreed the new
savings proposals for 2025/26 to 2028/29 (Appendix 1) and referred
them to the Overview and Scrutiny panels and Commission in November
2024 for consideration and comment.
 
B. That Cabinet considered the emerging draft
working Equalities Impact Assessments (Appendix 2) for each saving,
where applicable, and referred them to the Overview and Scrutiny
panels and Commission in November 2024 for consideration and
comment.
