Purpose

 
To seek the approval of the
Cabinet Member for Planning to the use of £150,000 from
commuted sums ring fenced specifically for affordable housing in
the Council’s approved affordable housing capital budget.
This allocation will enable the delivery by Worthing Homes of 6
units for affordable rent, including one wheelchair accessible
unit, on the 17 unit s106 site at 62-68 Folders Lane, Burgess Hill.
The funding is to be paid on handover of the units to Worthing
Homes, anticipated to be in 2025.

Decision

The following decision has been
made by the Cabinet Member for Sustainable Economy and Housing and
will come into effect at 10.00am on 10am Friday 13th June, unless
the call-in procedure is activated. If you wish to request that a
