Decision
The Leader took Members to a vote on the
recommendations which were agreed unanimously.
RESOLVED:
Cabinet agreed to:
(i)
Consider and decide upon the recommendations for each of the
applications, summaries of which are provided in Appendix A (Tables
1 and 2). Cabinet agreed to award the (suggested) grants in Table 1
and agreed that no grant is awarded to those applications in Table
2.
(ii)
Approved the introduction of a pre-application stage for future
bidding rounds which will ensure all applicants have considered the
criteria set out at Appendix B before making an
application.
(iii)
Approved the adoption of a guiding principle that each of the three
annual Community Grant rounds is capped at £33,300, with
exceptions permitted on a case?by?case basis.
