Purpose

To consider approving the new Five Year Net
Zero 2030 Strategy, for the Council’s operational
emissions.

Content

1.        
That, in order
to ensure that the Council has an up-to-date strategy in place to
achieve Net Zero for the Council by 2030, the
Five Year Plan -
Pathway to Net Zero 2030 and Action Plan be
agreed.

2.         That an
annual update on the greenhouse gas emissions reporting and
progress on the action plan be presented to the relevant Scrutiny
Committee.

3.        
That authority
be delegated to the Director of Environment and Property to make
any minor non-material editorial amendments to the
Five Year Plan -
Pathway to Net Zero 2030 ahead of its
final publication.
