RESOLVED:

1.      That the Council agree in
principle to the Council’s participation in a flexible voting
pilot at the May 2026 local elections, based upon a polling day
voting hub in Central Milton Keynes (anticipated to be Centre:MK or Midsummer Place), and that the initial
expression of interest be noted.

2.      That authority be
delegated to the Director of Law & Governance / Returning
Officer (in consultation with the Leaders of Political Groups)
to:

a)      make a final decision
about the Council’s proposal and participation;

b)      agree the terms for the
pilot and the funding arrangements; and

c)      finalise the arrangements and enter into any
required legal agreements.
