Purpose

To consider a re-procurement of the real time
bus passenger information system, via the existing local transport
authority procurement consortium.

Content

1.         That the
procurement of a real time passenger information system via the
Kent County Council framework, by the Cambridge Consortium, on
behalf of the Council, be approved.

2.         That
authority be delegated to the Director Environment and Property, in
consultation with the Director Law and Governance, and Cabinet
member for Public Realm to finalise and enter into a Partnership
Agreement, between the Council and the Cambridge Consortium,
covering service provision, works and contract
management.

3.         That
authority be delegated to the Director Environment and Property, in
consultation with the Cabinet member for Public Realm, to approve
the award of call-off contracts under the framework following the
procurement led by the Cambridgeshire Consortium.
